Weekend with my Mommy and Elsa

Daddy had to go out of town for the weekend, so Mommy took Elsa and I to the zoo on Sunday. We met my friend Aiden and his parents there. We saw the butterfly house, the giraffes, the elephants, the monkeys, the camels.. and a lot of other animals I don't remember.

I showed mommy on the map exactly where the train needed to go...

Elsa slept.

I loved the dolphin show. They jumped so high!

We did some painting too. For daddy.

And we spent some time at the Transformers movie set. The helicopters were loud!

Reading to my sister is very important...

Lago with the Family

We had a great dinner at Club Lago with Uncle Steve... and I sang him the Reading Rainbow song. I had practiced with daddy all day.

The Grenshaw Party Barn

Well I wanted a party at the Party Barn, but after hunting long and hard, my parents couldn't find this magical place. We decided instead to invite my friends and family to our house for TRAINS!!, cake, painting, ice cream and hot dogs; a perfect combination. My daddy even built me a super-cool super-sized train.












We ended the day at a crazy Italian restaurant, Buca de Beppo. There was so so so much food, the waiters still brought me a special brownie treat and song when we were all done. My birthday candle was something called a candelabra?

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

In honor of my favorite song, Uncle David and Linda took Mommy and I to a White Sox game. They won, had lots of home-runs and fireworks! I had a hot dog, some ice cream bites and nachos. Mmmmm... Take me out to another ball game!
