Everyone's Favorite

Yesterday I was everyone's favorite! I had a great day, Mommy and I played drums and read books when I got home. After all of her hard work yesterday though, I think she needed me to take care of myself tonight at dinnertime. I'm getting pretty good at my sippy cup. She also fed me adult macaroni tonight. Mmmm... no more of that kid stuff.

Eating and Drinking

I surprised Mommy & Daddy tonight and showed them I can eat peaches and drink water all by myself! I'm so cool.

This weekend Daddy and I went to Grandma and Grandpa Hertz's. They're a lot of fun, but I really miss my Mommy. I can't wait to get home.

Little Drummer Boy

I made Mommy & Daddy my first piece of artwork today. Goodness my feet are big!

And then I taught them how to play the drums. They need some practice.

Dreams

Zzzzzz... Having sweet dreams of mommy and daddy. I promise not to wake them up at 3 am this morning.

Big Trouble in Small Packages

Melissa told Mommy that I didn't want to sleep much today so I took that as an excuse to get snuggly with Mommy when I got home.

I still had enough energy to play with my train later though! After a yummy meal of Pears n Strawberries. Aiden helped me play too. He makes me giggle.

Splish Splash

I'm waiting for Daddy to upload some more pictures of me so this one will have to go without.

Melissa (my awesome sitter) told Mommy that this was my happiest day yet! I have fun playing with Diego and her. They both take good care of me. Diego is almost one whole year older than me, but pretty soon I'll be chasing him around.

I came home and played for awhile with my train. And I shared with Mommy.. but she was making meatloaf for Daddy so I pretty much just played with the choo choo. Then we had fun bathtime. I sat on the other side of the tub, like a big boy, for the first time tonight! Wow, what a different view of things. So much easier to splash with my hands. Growing up is cool.

Baby it's cold outside

It's bitterly cold today, so I decided that I would stay inside all day and play with Daddy. I love the weekends because we get to have fun and nobody has to work. Dad really likes his new camera so I agreed to pose for a few pictures.

I've moved up to the next stage of baby food already and Mommy fed me my first Mac n' Cheese tonight. I like it a lot. It wasn't the same as the Mac n' Cheese that Mom and Dad make. It seemed to be a bit watered down.

Where did they go?

I think I'm beginning to have a little separation anxiety. Mommy and Daddy were both out last night and I missed them terribly. They came home though and I slept good after that. I'll have to discuss their social obligations with them.. they'll have to cut back on those!

Tonight Mommy and I are going to put on our pjs, and play with all of my new toys. Daddy is going to a Bulls game with his work friends. I can't wait for him to take me someday too.

I went to Bar Louie

After tossing back a pile of $1 burgers with Uncle David and Mama I slipped deep into a food coma. All bundled up for the long stroller ride home, I couldn't help but fall asleep.

My first blog ever...

So that's me. Uncle David took some photos of me this morning so that he could give one to Grandma for her birthday. I got her an apron that says she's a cool grandma. I can't wait to bake some cookies with her. She made me that cool hat before I was born, it's fun to wear and it's warm.

I'm now 6 months and 4 days old. Wow. The past fifteen months have gone pretty fast. I'm learning so much everyday. I can almost sit up all by myself already! Actually.. I'm sitting pretty good.. but after a few minutes I let my heavy head get the best of me and I fall over a bit. But only sometimes. I'll start working on that. I played with Elmo today, jumped a bunch and tonight I got to hang out with my friend Jackson. He's almost 3. He played with my new animal train. I let him.

So big news.. I said 'mama” today. You'd think she was going to start crying she was so excited. We'll talk more later this week. I need to go to bed now.
