We spent a few hours at the beach too. I told Daddy all about the big lake. He taught me how to walk on sand.

Weekend in Grand Haven
Mommy, Daddy and I spent a weekend in August with the whole Hertz family.. Everyone from New York and some of my relatives from France were here too! They had a cottage in downtown Grand Haven. Just close enough to the water so that we could take a walk and look at the boats, and get ice cream.
We spent a few hours at the beach too. I told Daddy all about the big lake. He taught me how to walk on sand.

Taylor Street Fest

Mommy, Daddy and I spent Friday night at our local street festival. I had awesome chocolate ice cream, slid down a gigantic slide with daddy, played all sorts of games and danced to Frank Sinatra. I even won a huge baseball bat, an orange doggy and a yellow bear! Mommy forgot the camera so she had to take pictures with her phone. Sorry for the fuzziness.

Birthday Party
I had a great birthday party downtown! My family came to visit and all my friends joined us for swimming, cake and presents.
Swimming on the 16th floor! I learned to KICK KICK KICK.
Unwrapping presents is almost as much fun as the gifts themselves!

Super yummy cake from Grandma Kohrman! It's probably my favorite food. The blue lips made everyone giggle.
Later that night I couldn't even stay awake for dinner and I fell asleep at the restaurant. It was loud, but I was really tired.

My family got to stay in the Aqua on the 26th floor. Aunt Lisa was a bit nervous with the height but I wasn't!

At night, we saw the fireworks from Navy Pier.

I walked around a lot with my new Elmo.

And I learned how to use the escalator! I practiced a lot going up and down until I wore everyone out.
