City Explorer!

Wow I've been busy. Mommy took me to work with her on Friday. Both offices.. she must work hard if she has two of those. Her coworker made me an ID badge so that I can go to the really tall building whenever I want. I was so good and so cute.

After we got home, Uncle David suggested we visit the Children's Museum at Navy Pier. How fun! I stood up and talked to myself in the mirror, played with other babies and pushed the boats in the water. I hope we can go back. Uncle David took some pretty cool pictures of me that he posted on his flickr page.

I spent Saturday with daddy and he and I will tell you all about that, but on Sunday I got to go shopping with the girls. Grandma bought me a bathing suit and a bright orange spring jacket. Oh, she bought me a very hip hat too. Way cool.

I'm still teething, fighting to walk and talking up a storm. Wearing 12 month clothes even though I'm only going to be 9 months old tomorrow. That's all for now!

First Tooth

I was starting to take a nap today and tried to use mommy's thumb as a pacifier. She got real excited and said she felt my first tooth! It's in the middle of my lower jaw, left of center!

My First Painting

Momma's trying to get the creativity flowing early. I don't think I understood what this was all about, but mushing the paints around was fun.

Big Weekend

I've got a lot to report this weekend. Momma and Dadda have had to do a lot of coddling and hugging this weekend, I've been cranky. Waking up in the middle of the night, crying and grumbling while my eyes are still closed.I think it is either because of my teeth or constipation.

After some snuggling with Dadda I was ready to play and he took a lot of pictures of me, which I tried to block.

Lunch Date

Melissa took Diego and I out to lunch to Penny's Noodles. Yummy!

Diapers have Protein Too!

Mommy and Daddy have been lazy about letting me get on the computer. So much has happened in the last two weeks!

I had my first spill off the bed but I was brave. Mommy cried longer than I did. I'm just so anxious to get on my feet. I'll surprise you all and be walking so soon!

We went to see Grandma and Grandpa Hertz last weekend. Grandpa still has lots of ouchies but I was really good and made him smile. My cousin Ethan and his parents were super cool to hang out with too. Grandma spoiled me of course but that's her job! I tried so many new foods there too.. turkey, brocollis, Amy's Fruit Salad, butternut squash.

I've just been trying more and more to get up and moving. I'm practicing new sounds and sticking everything in my mouth. Best way to check things out right?

Elmo was on Paula Deen last night. He made me giggle.. I really like watching him on a show named Sesame Street too! I always know when he's talking. Momma said my friend named Tivo makes sure I get to see him every day.

Oh.. daddy posted my six month pictures on the gallary ( www.galantvr4.com\gal ) I'm pretty cute if I do say so myself.
